mystical space typhoon question?

yu-gi-oh -- I have mage power equipped to my monster, then my opponent activates mystical space typhoon to destroy mage power. I then activate mystical space typhoon to destroy their mystical space typhoon. Is mage power destroyed?

It only destroy spells and trap cards. Does not negate cards!

Mage Power is destroyed because Mystical Space Typhoon doesn't negate so you just wasted yours, using it on your opponent's Mystical Space Typhoon.

Yes because MST doesn't negate, it only destroys. If a continuous spell is activated, then someone can negate it with MST. (according to rulings) MST only destroys spells and traps.
