I am barred until fri Jan 1 2021 for asking for a sub in the lounge???

Question

I was playing spades, and we lost a player all of a sudden, so I started asking for a sub in the lounge. Then I got kick out of the room when I tried to go back in it says I am barred until Friday Jan 1 2021. I asked this question before but I was told that it was only for 24 hours it isnt because I still cant log in. So any help would be appreciated. I dont want to have to make a new ID to continue to play

In yahoo GAMES! This is what's happening. A year or so ago yahoo installed a program to catch web cam bots. People started getting banned by the hundreds, now most people know about this program. But it still catches a few in their eagerness to get back to the game they got booted or disconnected from. “The problem now is that yahoo has added new technology in its efforts to stop the newest wave of poker/TV sites/Spam bots. And like the older version it’s got lots of glitches” Now doing even common things like table hopping, chatting fast and a lot in lobby, Or you are DC'ed or booted out of game for low ping and return immediately, Or changing lounges fast. Can get you banned. Sometimes it's better to wait or use the time to reboot, and then it is to rush back and risk losing playing privileges for a couple days. The tourney Tds run into a problem, “scrolling ads” for their tournaments. A different email account and user id will get you in, but if one ID is banned, then all IDs on same account are banned and cannot get in. I suggest that Tds make up 2-3 new accounts just for tourney use, that way if one is banned go to next, just let the players know who you are.

It's a big screw up on Yahoo's part. There spam bot is gone to sh*t and from what I'm seeing it's getting worst. I was told it was temporary and when I got email back from the Yahoo games abuse it was a simple cut and paiste standard message with no insight to when the warning will expire or at all. I'm in the same boat you are. Told it was a warning but 2 weeks later and it's still says i'm barred till 2021.



You have no choice but to start a whole new ID. Yahoo is gonna hate that they let it go because everyone is going to be making new ID's and with that comes a mail account. So they will have a huge amount of wasted space on there servers of old ID's. So much for Yahoo's longevity on the games side. If that pisses you off i'm sure that people have already jumped ship to another good online games location.

good luck i got a ID barred for running a poem at a memorial tourney for a friend that passed away and called them and was told to use yahoo help to which i recieved multiple form letters from them no help at all.
