Question:
What are some good Yugioh cards that help with tributing?

I'm just playing around with some deck builds at the moment. One deck I'm looking at focuses tributing monsters to get out stronger level 6+ monsters (theme is Dragon). Problem with it right now is that it's a bit slow, since I can only set/summon one monster a turn, and it if it has a low defense, it'll probably get destroyed by the opponent's attacker.

What are some support cards that would be helpful for a deck like this? I'm thinking of things like
- Gets out lower level monsters/tokens quickly
- Allows multiple normal summons (e.g. Ultimate Offering, Double Summon)
- Alternatively, allows special summoning of multiple monsters at once

Since the deck has several high level monsters, there often tends to be dead draws as well - what cards can increase draw power? I already have Super Rejuvenations, but are there others like it?

(As a side note, I notice that several dragon cards (Prime Material, Hardened Armed, Vanguard, etc...) that have effects which involve "sending to the Graveyard" instead of "discarding", meaning it doesn't count for Super Rejuvenation's effect... is there anything that WILL take advantage of "sending"?

Hey,

Before I start, two quick things:

1) Super Rejuv is Forbidden (Sept 2013 list)

2) Ultimate Offering is Forbidden (same list)

Now, a good card for tribute summons would be treeborn frog.

It comes back at the start of your turn, which gave way to what we used to call, frog monarchs (monarch's require one tribute and are pretty strong monsters).

What's more, stacking treeborn frogs is perfectly fine now as they're no longer limited so you can get more at a faster rate.

Another good card for tribute summoning is Scapegoat, but only if the tribute is used as a Special Summon (eg. D-Hero Plasma). Scapegoat allows what we call goat control, another method of creating strong monsters with minimal cost.

Cards that can increase draw power are Allure of Darkness (if you play dark monsters), Trade-in (for lvl 8s), and Dragged Down To The Grave (use this card if the only card left in your hand is the one you want to discard)

Hope I helped!

Happy Duelling!!

First of all, before you add anything to your deck too quick, check out the forbidden and limited list at yugioh-card.com.

Second, try these:

Spell Striker

Cyber Dragon

Big piece golem

Dandylion

Twin-Headed Behemoth

Treeborn Frog

The tricky

Marshmallon

Spirit Reaper

Arcana Force 0 - The fool

Nimble Momonga

Those are all monsters that cannot be destroyed by battle, can be special summoned or summons tokens (Dandylion) they are all perfect for stalling so you can tribute summon.

The next list is spells and traps:

These trapcards can be summoned as effect monsters and can be very useful, they don't count as your normal summon so they are ideal for tribute:

Embodiment of Apophis

Metal Reflect Slime

Stronghold the moving fortress

Zoma the spirit

Next list are card that helps special summon or the summon of tokens:

Instant Fusion (pay 1000 lifepoints and special summon a weak fusion that can be used as a tribute)

Stray lambs

Scapegoat

Double summon

I really hope this helps!
