I had a question during a game that I wasn't sure about. Say my opponent has a Stormtide Leviathan out and it's tapped. I have a Chasm Drake out and some large creature, say 6/6. Can I attack with both? Stormtide states that only creatures with flying or islandwalk can attack and Chasm Drake says when it attacks give target creature flying. So can I attack with my 6/6? As I declare attackers Chasm Drake's ability comes into effect, but would declaring my 6/6 an attacker count as a second attack phase and therefore not be allowed?

The 6/6 would not be able to attack. All attackers must be declared simultaneously in the Declare Attackers step, and it isn't until you are done declaring attackers that the Chasm Drake's ability would trigger.

The 6/6 must have flying before you declare it as an attacker and Chasm Drake's ability triggers after you declare attackers. Sorry but it doesnt work.
