I have a discard deck for magic the gathering. I'd like to make it smaller though. So im looking for suggestions of what to take out of it to make it smaller. And if you want you can include something it may need but the important thing is that it becomes smaller because it's currently 74 cards and i'd like it closer to 60 or 65 if i can. Any help is greatly appreciated!

The Deck:
x6 mountain
x19 swamp
x4 Bloodstained Mire

x3 Pulse of the Dross
x3 Blackmail
X4 Unburden
x4 Wrench Mind
x4 Dark Banishing
x2 Mindslicer
x4 Megrim ** key to the deck of course**
x2 Visara the Dreadful
x3 Diabolic Tutor
x2 Hypnotic Specter
x2 Iron Myr
x4 Leaden Myr
x4 Necrogen Spellbomb
x4 Dragon Mage

I would take red out of the deck completely. Only Dragon Mage uses it and that card is way to costly for a discard deck. Also, giving your opponent 7 new cards to potentially come up with a counter to your strategy in never a good idea. I would go with a mono-black deck that looks like this...

The Deck:

x20 swamp

x4 Blackmail - B

X4 Unburden – BB1 - Sorcery

x4 Wrench Mind – BB - Sorcery

x4 Dark Banishing

x4 Megrim ** key to the deck of course**

x4 Diabolic Tutor

x4 Hypnotic Specter

x4 Necrogen Spellbomb

x4 Royal Assassin

x4 Drudge Skeletons

The bounceback effect of the Pulse of the Dross is nice but would be very limited since you want to have your opponent discard anyway. The Blackmail is the same thing but much cheaper. I would add the Royal Assassin and the Drudge Skeletons because these give some creatures that are easier to get out and with the regeneration of the Skels, can stay around longer.

The Assassin can take care of creatures that have to tap to attack so I would save the Dark Banishings for creatures with vigilence. I know you want the Megrim to do most of the damage but you should also concentrate on keeping your opponent locked down and having the Specter and Skeletons pick away at him. Keeping their hand size limited is key.

take away those 4 bloodstained mires. you realy dont need them at all. A deck should around 20-25 land, about 1/3 of your deck should be lands. If you follow that rule(which you do), then you shouldnteed those 4 bloodstained mires. You can keep one or two i guess, but i dont use mine at all.

Mill should always be Black/Blue. Anymore, Mind Funeral should be the centerpiece of every mill deck.
