To allow the Java window to pop up as it should, you should click the "Options" button while you're in the lounge and select "Small Windows" and then click "Done" prior to creating or joining any table. You will have to do this each time you join a lounge, but as long as you stay at the same lounge during any one play session you should not need to select the option again.

Small windows do work, but you only see part of the cards. For now, I play from Opera and Firefox on the same computers. Load a new browser and give it a try. Yahoo is aware of the problem and is trying to fix it.

ok here goes.

It seems your using FIREFOX if i see correctly.Theredoesn'tt appear to be anything to indicate a problem with that.

The links above load ok ie spades pictures and room borders appear.

it does bring up a message screen which usually happens when yahoo is having a bit of a problem at their end but this generally only last for a few attempts which means that you should already be playing again if that wastheh problem.

The applet not loading is a java problem.

Yahoo games require java to run.

It is possible that your java has become corrupted from this part of the error messages

Exception: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: com.yahoo.games.client.common.remotetabl…

load: class com.yahoo.games.client.common.remotetabl… not found.

Java is free and can be downloaded from sun java or

www.filehippo.com

Once you have downloaded it , the games should work again, if not you will need to get into your browser settings and enable java to operate.

If you are not already playing again i would suggest you download the latest version of java from the links i provided above

I have the same problem with 2 of my computers. I am running on Internet Explorer. I have uninstalled and reinstalled and nothing has changed. I can see my name in the room list, hear sounds but have no graphics. There seems to be no probem with the annoying banner adds on the top of the page. Others seem to be playing, what's up?
