What are some good card games?

i.d. clare war,
texas hold'em,
egyptian rascals
but i dont wasnt to know any board games or games that have to be bought, i just want to know some good card games other than the few i alredy no

I can think of a couple you might like (and all they need are regular cards, no boards or special decks)



Spit is a fast, two person card game. It involves trying to get your cards onto the piles in the middle by making runs. It's a great game to play when you have only a bit of time and not much space because it doesn't take too much of either. It can be really addictive though and it great to have tournaments in!



Slap is another fast game which can be played with as many people as you want. As long as you can count you can play slap. Pretty much, everyone is counting up while playing cards on a pile in the middle, hoping to get rid of all their cards. When the number played is the same as the number being said (while counting) everyone has to slap the pile. Whoever is last has to pick up those cards.



Luck is a great strategy and thinking game (with just a little luck needed too) that is good for big groups of people. You are trying to get certain combinations of cards to play to pass different levels, each level getter harder as the game goes on. The first player to get rid of their cards wins the round and makes all the other players get points. The scoring works like golf, you want as few points as possible.
