Im new to MTG and if i were to run lets say "Hive stirrings" in my deck it allows you to summon sliver tokens so do the tokens count towards the 60 cards in a deck or can you have like as many as you want or something?

Tokens are not 'cards', even though yes, there are many cards printed for you to use to represent a token creature. But they are not cards for the purposes of deck construction in any way, you don't put them in your deck. Whenever a token generating card says to put tokens into play, you can use anything to represent them, it's just more convenient to use those cards.

No. In fact, a token doesn't even to be a card. I was playing MTG a couple of days ago and he ripped off a piece of a Mike and Ike box and used that as a token

No. Technically speaking, a token isn't a "card" in gameplay terms anyway. The only things that count toward you 60-card count for your deck are actual cards. You don't shuffle tokens into your deck, they just pop into existance when you cast the spell.

No. Tokens don't count because they're not part of your Library/Deck.

Tokens do not go into your deck at all. Tokens are a type or permanent that get created by effects, and whenever they go to any zone other than the Battlefield, they immediately are removed from that zone and cease to exist from a gameplay perspective.

No, you can have as many tokens as you like as they're not part of your deck
