I have a 'stack' question:

The setup: I have a 'Throne of Geth' on the field and I'm about to play a "Precursor Golem".
Next, I play the "Precursor Golem" and lay out the 2 additional 3/3 golem tokens.
Now my opponent uses a Lightning bolt to fry my "Precursor Golem"...

My question is: While the Lightning Bolt is on the stack, could I sac the "Precursor Golem" to the "Throne of Geth" to avoid the Lightning Bolt duplicating for my other Golems?

I'm pretty sure it would still do the damage, because precursor golem states Whenever a player casts an instant or sorcery spell that targets only a single Golem, that player copies that spell for each other Golem that spell could target. Each of those spells targets a different one of those Golems.

Regardless of whether the spell resolves or not the spell was still casted, so he would still be able to choose new targets for the copy.

No you can not. Once the Lightning bolt is cast, Precursor Golem's ability will trigger. Only then do you get to activate Throne of Geth's ability.

Gerard Foley nailed it. right that's basically element on what definitely ensue and clarify why Bob M "miscalculated" the form of tokens. you have a million Precursor Golem and 2x 3/3 colorless Golem token in play. You solid ceremony of Replication focused on Precursor Golem. Precursor Golem's led to ability led to and placed on the stack. The stack now has: PG's led to ability by way of fact the coolest maximum merchandise, under is your ceremony of Replication. Assuming not something surpassed off. PG's ability resolves. while it resolves, you replica ceremony of Replication for each 3/3 colorless Golem token. Now those 2 copies are placed on the stack. Now the stack has: a million replica of RoR, a million replica of RoR, the forged RoR. lower back, not something surpassed off. the 1st replica of ceremony of Replication resolves, you place a three/3 colorless Golem token in play. The 2nd replica resolves, you place yet another 3/3 colorless Golem in play. Now, your solid ceremony of Replication resolves and you place a replica of PG in play. So in short, as Gerard defined, you get 3 tokens without kicking ceremony of Replication. If kicked, you multiply by using 5, so which you will possibly get 15.

I'm also not familiar with the cards you're talking about, however in theory it should be fine. In response to Lightning Bolt you activate another ability, which causes the Sac'ing of the creature Lightning Bolt was targeting, and now Lightning Bolt has no target so it doesn't resolve.

Most likely yes, I'm not familiar with the exact cards you're referring to but you can use instant effects while a spell is on the stack to prevent a spell already on the stack from resolving, its the entire concept behind counterspells.
