Can i use Orzhov Basilica on my first turn?

I have 2 multi coloured Land cards in my deck, Orzhov Basilica and Dimir Aqueduct. I was wondering if i can use them on my first turn, they say when they come into play return a land you control to its owners hand? Also what happens if i do play it on my first turn?

You CAN play them on your first turn, but it won't accomplish much. When it comes into play, its ability will trigger, and when that ability resolves, you'll need to return a land you control to its owner's hand. Since the only land you control is the Aqueduct, you'll have to bounce it.

no you cant use it on your first turn since when it come into play it is tapped so you have to wait for you next turn to untap it same with Dimir Aqueduct.



and i believe you cant play it on your first turn you have to have a land out already to play one of those 2 lands since you have to return a land you control to your hand to play it as a secondary cost (though i could be wrong on this second part)

You can't play them on your first turn. you can't meet the full cost of the card, which is that you have to return a land to your hand.
